Sandstone Candle Works opened its doors in October 2016 in the beautiful historic district of Amherst, Ohio.

We are more than just a candle store, we are a candle experience.  We have gourmet soy candles in over 120 fragrances. Our single scented candle can be purchased off the shelf or blend scents and create your own unique fragrance.  Candles are not the only thing you can customize.  We have room and body sprays, Wax tarts, Reed diffusers, Spa Salts, Sugar Scrubs, Lotions and more!

Although reservations are never needed you can walk in any time and make custom products, we would appreciate a heads up if you have 6 or more people.   Just give us a call so we are staffed properly.

Making the candles takes about 15-30 minutes.  At this point your candle will need about 90 mins to set.  This gives you time to check out the rest of our downtown area.  We have a number of restaurants, stores, taverns, bowling alley and even a movie theater to pass the time.  Your candles will be waiting for you... even if you decide to pick them up another day.
